Still my most favourite canvas I ever worked on!

What do you think I should write about?

In my stories there will be a 2 minute video explaining a bit more about pebeo Fantasy and Prisme paints and what I use with them. I shall pop it in my Teaching Highlights if you ever want to refer to it. Hope it's not too rambling. I just had enough time to show you what I have and explain how to use them. If I find a video of me actually using them, I'll post it.

These are the rest of my exploration pieces I did with one of my classes using: salt, clingfilm (I use any wrapping now and my class are big on trying to reuse their clingfilm), imprinting with thread and lace any anything else to hand, ink and gouache, all with watercolour at its core. Nothing like what I usually do, but I wanted to shake things up in class and try some mixed media and different textures, and just get everyone to find the joy in experimenting!

TIP: you can get some weird and wonderful textures when you chuck some lace and thread into wet watercolours, put something over it and leave it overnight with books pressing down on it.

Looking through photos and found the results of my last workshop on lino printing. This was back in March, just before the lockdown. I think this was probably one of my favourite workshop days, and everyone created something fantastic and went home inspired with new learning. That's what teachers always hope for!
